Fragrance strength is usually the first thing buyers get wrong. A candle that smells strong straight out of the box can go flat after twenty minutes of burning, and one that smells subtle cold can fill a room once it's lit. That's why we recommend confirming fragrance load against burn performance on a sample before production, not after.
Soy, Paraffin, or a Blend?
Soy wax burns cooler and holds fragrance oil well, which is why most retail and gifting buyers ask for it. It also lets you market the candle as plant-based. Paraffin throws scent harder and costs less, which matters if you're competing on shelf price.
A soy-paraffin or soy-coconut blend splits the difference: better scent throw than pure soy, cleaner burn than pure paraffin. We'll recommend a base once we know your price point and how you're positioning the product.
